We are an Indiana-based trucking company providing regional and long distance transportation services to select market areas through Pro Fleet Transport and PF Services. History
In 1993, Chris Wood and Kelly Pletcher saw the need for a new, high quality, high reliability flatbed carrier.
With that need in mind, they founded Fro Fleet Transport, Inc. in Elkhart, Indiana, with a desire to be the best professional transportation company in the region. Hiring only the best drivers and providing only the best equipment has proven to be a winning combination in the eye of Pro Fleet's ever growing customer base.
Multiple-stop Delivery Service has been offered to valuable customers of Pro Fleet Transport since its inception in 1993. This service is Pro Fleet’s solution to help manufacturers deliver products to their customers more cost effectively and damage free. Pro Fleet presently makes deliveries to more than 350 home-improvement retail stores each week on behalf of various suppliers. By placing multiple-stop orders on a single truck, the customer receives their product directly from the manufacturer with no excess handling or cross-docking, all at truckload quantity pricing.
Pro Fleet fills a need with care given to the special load. We will handle the loads that LTL carriers often shy away from because they are awkward, oversized, or in some way difficult to handle and ship (i.e.16' long moulding pieces.) We ship directly on one truck, rather than stopping and moving product from trailer-to-trailer between deliveries; whereas most LTL carriers are involved in such cross-docking situations as a part of their normal day-to-day activity. Often, such over handling and cross-docking can lead to product damage or misplacement by the time the truck has reached its destination. On our trucks it will only leave the trailer once to be unloaded at its final destination and the likelihood of damage or lost product is greatly reduced.
